First Hydrogen Filling Station in DC
Shell Oil has chosen Washington, D. C. as a symbolic gesture to fuel cell possibilities. They are putting their first hydrogen filling station there to grab the attention of polioticians, even tho there are only 6 GM demonstrators in the city. Shell is initiating its "lighthouse projects" in the US, where 4 to 6 filling stations in a locale will offer hydrogen fuel. They are hoping for at least 100 fuel cell cars in each city where the project is launched.
