meet information
Results from the last swim meet indicate $1500 was taken in for the 2-day meet. Labor costs to put it on were $951.88. A MDAC check # 3230 for $2000 was received 2/23/09 for monthly pool rentals. The balance is $200. Invoice billing statements (17) are listed back to 11/19/07. Of course billing does not guarantee that the payments were made. City receipts for payments made would be better. MDAC roster issues addressed
While MDAC is NOT compelled to reveal a roster of the Springs kids involved on their team, yet, you might think that, in the interests of being a good neighbor and maintaining good working relationships with the taxpaying residents of Miami Springs, they might just volunteer to provide the list. Volunteering would also go a long way toward clearing up this situation and resolving the now highly questionable and suspicious situation. A list of the kids names are NOT necessary, of course, as it is the PARENTS of these kids that would have to verify their attendance and participation in MDAC anyway, thus addressing and defusing the "Child Predator" defense (which was unbelievable and preposterous in the first place). To allow for seasonality only the parents names of the Springs kids are requested for the past 2-3 years, along with their contact information. A verifiable list of names is necessary because a list of names is NOT always accurate, as you know. So what do you say, MDAC? It is the right and honorable thing to do, no?

simple solutions needed now
Is the MDAC board member suggesting that SOMEhow, for SOME reason, the City of MS stopped billing MDAC for the use of our pool for practices? That is the ONLY way they could say that they have paid for all monies requested, right? If the City of MS FORGOT to bill them for the past, oh, I dont know, TWO YEARS, then they could say that, I guess. Of course that raises the question as to WHO decided to stop billing and WHY? Is it POSSIBLE that the City could FORGET to bill? They DID forget to include water, plumbing, and electrical hookups for the bathrooms, right? So maybe they just FORGOT this little item too!!?? Whooooops!!! What is needed is a copy of all the bills sent to MDAC since they started practicing here, to go with the cancelled checks that they received from them as a result of those billings, right? That will simplify things greatly.
